This picture is inspired by Count Magnus, the famous horror story by M. R. James which scared the dejezus out of me when I was much younger. To quote the story:
"He was astonished to find himself already at the gate of the churchyard, and within a few minutes of his dinner. His eyes fell on the mausoleum where Count Magnus had been buried.
‘Ah,’ he said, ‘Count Magnus, there you are. I should dearly like to see you.’"
 
I mean, how stupid can you get? Even when I was eight years old I knew one never should mutter such things in graveyards. Especially when you knew that Count Magnus had been on the Black Pilgrimage and "and had brought something or someone back with him."
