Atlantic city

the barnacle covered towers of a seagoing submersile city, a mix of captain Nemo and R'lyeh

I really like how the "city" blends with the fractal background. The three people standing in the middle aren't integrated quite as well... the saturated colors are okay (after all I get the feeling that, in the context of this image, they're supposed to "pop out") But they draw more attention to the slightly aliased edges around the figures and also the fact that the perspective isn't quite right. Whatever object they were standing behind in the original image, it rose up much higher than the platform they're supposed to be standing on here, so that the two on the right actually look like they're about to fall off.

Still a cool pic or I wouldn't have bothered to type all that :)

I rotated the figure on the right a bit to the left. Do you think this looks better?

You have the eye of an eagle. But this is the kinds of remarks that really help me make things more perfect. Would it help if I leaned those two a bit to the right? If you have a beter way, could you just do it in my picture and mail it to me? My mailadress is taisteng(at)gmail.com
